The Opportunity
As a One Medical Medical Assistant (Float) (known internally as a
Flex Medical Member Support Specialist/Lab Service Specialist),
you'll provide an exceptional experience for our patients and help
them accomplish an important part of their care journey by
providing venipuncture, dispensary responsibilities, as well as
other clinical support services. You will be an ambassador for
patients in office, with a mastery of human connection and a strong
drive for service. You will remove barriers to care, resulting in a
truly exceptional in-office patient experience. This includes
support for the office with a focus on active daily management,
scheduling, inventory , and facilities support. You are the steward
of the space and ensure the look and feel of the office lobby are
on brand with the One Medical experience. You will be the first
point of contact for patient feedback, as well as provide any other
support as requested by the Leads, Office Manager, or in office
providers. Our Flex Member Support Specialist/Lab Services
Specialist support multiple offices in a Market. -
You are a strong team player and use your innovative problem
solving skills to tackle various tasks and challenges. You combine
excellent specimen collection technique with tactful interpersonal
skills during every interaction with your patients. You have a
strong grasp of verbal and written communication. You are able to
identify opportunities and deliver on customer-centric solutions
while using empathy, focus, and compassion in all interactions with
patients and teammates. You bring self-awareness to your daily work
to utilize your strengths and develop your areas of opportunity.

What you'll work on:
These responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature
and level of work being performed by personnel assigned to this job

What you'll need:
At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or
Phlebotomist outside of a training/externship environment

This is a full time role (40 hrs/week) with 8 hour shifts generally
taking place Monday-Friday between 7:30am-6:30pm based at our
offices located in Boston and Cambridge, MA. Flex Lab Services
Specialists lend support to multiple One Medical locations in a
market and location and schedule are subject to change. -
