State Licensed Acute Coding Supervisor

Job Description:

A company is looking for an Acute Coding Supervisor, National Remote.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage coding staff activities and perform coding, abstracting, and reporting in compliance with regulations
Audit, train, and supervise coding department staff to maximize reimbursement and ensure quality coding
Develop and motivate a competent staff while responding to requests from various stakeholders to ensure customer service excellence

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED or higher
Active AAPC or AHIMA Certification (CPC, CCS, or RHIT)
3+ years of experience with inpatient and outpatient acute facility coding
1+ years of leadership/management experience
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
