Job Description:

Our client is seeking a maintanance supervisor to oversee all maintenance activities at their facility. The ideal candidate will ensure environmentally sound, safe, and efficient operations of all mobile equipment, while managing maintenance personnel and work quality.

Key Responsibilities Maintenance Supervisor:

• Leadership: Provide leadership and management for all maintenance personnel. Assign work schedules, prioritize tasks, and ensure optimal performance.
• Safety: Maintain a safe work environment for all employees, customers, and visitors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintenance Coordination: Develop and monitor maintenance policies and procedures, assess repair needs, and schedule necessary maintenance activities.
• Operational Performance: Compile and report operational and personnel records, collaborate with other supervisors and managers, and implement policies and procedures to achieve goals.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Monitor and adjust contracts, leases, and department spending to stay within budget. Respond strategically to external influences such as DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Administrative Management: Ensure compliance with HR policies, monitor staff levels, review performance of direct reports, and collaborate with HR on job descriptions.
• Special Projects: Perform special projects or other duties as assigned.
  Qualifications Maintanance Supervisor:
  • Experience: Related industrial environment, with supervisory or management experience.
  • Skills: Knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and repair, strong organizational and management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle EAM, excellent communication skills.
  • Education: College courses in business or management are helpful.
  • Other: Valid driver's license. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to irregular schedules, including overtime and weekends.
